The Opus

Or "Magnum Opus" as I call it. This is probably my favorite lightsaber thusfar. I love the sheath-style design on lightsabers. Anyway, this one consists of what appears to be a fishing rod holder for a boat (I found it in a pile of old pipes at the nearby thrift store), a gear clamp that held down the old flashlight switch before I glued it down, a pressure washer rubber grip, and a bit of short copper pipe that I wedged in with a rubber o-ring. The pommel is simply a sink drain plug wedged in the end, and the rubber grip folded over itself. I think the rubber grip was the most expensive piece at around 12 dollars for the washer (the other grip went on The Dueler). All total, I'd say it cost 12 dollars if you count the grip as 6 bucks. I later on put a rare-earth magnet inside the rubber handle part, so with a belt that has metal studs, it quickly and firmly attaches to the belt! Walking around with this one attached to a belt feels just awesome!
